Treatments Tailored to Your Symptoms

Each neurological condition or symptom may arise from different causes and vary in severity. Therefore, the treatment plan is personalized according to the patient’s symptoms and overall health status. Following a detailed examination and necessary tests, the neurologist may recommend appropriate medication, physical therapy, lifestyle adjustments, or advanced interventional methods. The goal is to reduce symptoms, improve quality of life, and control the course of the disease.

Migraine Botox Treatment

Migraine Botox is an effective treatment method used to prevent chronic migraine attacks and reduce their severity. Fine Botox injections applied to specific areas of the head and neck significantly decrease the frequency and duration of migraine episodes. The treatment is planned by a neurologist, who determines individualized doses and injection points. Migraine Botox can be used as an additional or alternative option to medication therapy.

Sphenopalatine Ganglion Block

The sphenopalatine ganglion is a nerve cluster located just beside the nasal cavity. Its blockade is performed by placing an applicator—similar to a cotton-tipped swab—containing a local anesthetic into the nasal passage. It is commonly used in cluster headaches, trigeminal neuralgia, and migraine. I prefer this method especially for patients who do not benefit from medication therapy, do not wish to use regular medication, or have begun to show signs of kidney impairment due to long-term drug use. This block is a treatment option with a low risk of side effects.

GON Block (Greater Occipital Nerve Block)

This procedure involves blocking the greater occipital nerve—which carries pain sensation from the back of the head—using a local anesthetic. It is used in tension-type headaches, migraine, cluster headaches, and headaches originating from the cervical region. It can be applied both during acute pain and to prevent future attacks. It is a highly safe method with minimal side effects. It reduces the need for pain medications and carries a lower risk of adverse effects compared to oral treatments.

Neural Therapy

Neural therapy is a complementary treatment method aimed at activating the body’s self-healing mechanisms through the nervous system. Its foundation lies in restoring disrupted electrical transmission within the nervous system. The goal is not merely to suppress pain, but to interrupt the pathological nerve circuit responsible for causing it.
